Construction Labourer
Keep the site moving: materials, scaffolding, clean-up and hands-on help to the framing crew. No experience needed — a work ethic is.
Role detailsFramer · what you’ll do
- 01Measure, cut and assemble lumber and engineered materials to the drawings
- 02Frame walls, floor systems, roof trusses and stick roofs; set LVL and steel beams
- 03Install windows, doors, stairs and exterior trim as needed
- 04Work with the site lead so inspections pass the first time
- 05Keep your area of the site clean and safe
- 01Framing or carpentry experience, and you can read blueprints
- 02Comfortable with saws, nail guns, drills and layout tools
- 03Heavy lifting and working at heights, outdoors, year-round
- 04Your own basic hand tools, CSA safety boots and a hard hat
- 05Reliable transportation to sites in Cornwall and the surrounding area
Labourer · what you’ll do
- 01Load, unload and move materials; cut, carry and stack lumber for the crew
- 02Help build and take down scaffolding
- 03Run hand and power tools under supervision
- 04Clean and prep the site — debris, hazards, tidy stacks
- 05Dig, backfill and compact where needed
- 01No prior experience required — willingness to learn and take direction
- 02Physical stamina: heavy lifting, a full day on your feet, outdoors in every season
- 03Reliable and on time, every day
- 04CSA safety boots and reliable transportation to sites
- 05High school diploma or equivalent preferred
